Recording Grammy winning Lucas Richman’s new Chamber Opera album! Lucas’s resume is quite long. He’s worked with Michael Jackson, James Taylor, conducted for the films Se7en, The Manchurian Candidate, The Village, worked with Spike Lee films and so much more. His compositions are deep and the musicianship he’s brought with him this past week has been very impressive. Keep an eye out for his new project “Blood & Breath” coming soon. Devo just stopped in to record some parts of their new project at our studio before their show at the waterfront! Great guys and musicians! Pleasure working with Gerald Casale, Josh Hager & Paul Hager (front of house sound for Devo, Beck, goo goo dolls etc). If you can, check them out at the waterfront tomorrow with Billy Idol! Also, what made this session very special is when a guitar was needed, Josh Hager played my dad’s Gibson super 400 on the record and made it sing. I’d love to think dad is smiling down on this moment…
