Demons

Former Angels of the Kingdom of Paradise which is a powerful kingdom on the continent of Elysium. 18,000 years before the current era the Angels splintered into two warring factions, one led by Michael the Arc and the other by his brother Lucifer. Michael wished to keep the old way of Paradise being a republic where no single Angel can rule, Lucifer wished to establish a true king that would strengthen the kingdom against the other kingdoms of Elysium. This split in ideology led to a war which ravaged the kingdom for 6 years. Eventually Lucifer and his supporters would lose the war and were sentenced to banishment. On 200 ships the Demons as they came to call themselves were scattered across the seas. In time they would come ashore in various parts of the world where with their newfound freedom they established the great demon kingdoms of the Inferium Empire.

Physiology- as Elysians Demons possess physically similar bodies to humans since both races share a common genetic ancestor but with considerably denser muscle tissue, bone density, and organs which work more efficiently than those of humans.

Superhuman strength- due to the higher density of muscle tissue and bones Demons possess superhuman levels of strength. Leviathan the physically strongest Demon was said to be able to scar entire mountains during his battles.

Accelerated healing- Demons can heal from most minor wounds almost instantly with more life threatening injuries taking hours or days.

Gifts- Demons are born with their gifts fully manifested and unlike humans their gifts remain consistent among their bloodlines. Such as Mammon's gift to control wild beast's.

Culture- Demonic Culture is based on power. The weak comprise the lowest class in society with the strongest being the highest. This is because any Demon can challenge another for rank and title. This causes a innate need to become stronger as a house can lose or gain status depending on the strength of its members. This means if one Demon house has remained in power for centuries it is because no other house has been strong enough to overthrow them. Though this causes countless internal feuds it also means only the strongest rule therefore strengthening the kingdom as a whole. This warrior culture has led to arenas being the main entertainment of their society. Due to their pride Demons refuse to use fi****ms and only use bladed weapons with their gifts.

The Demon economy is primarily based in the trading of slaves which has led to the creation of Hunters who raid human villages and towns to keep up with the demand of servants for menial labor and gladiators for the countless arenas. This has also created a shadow network of humans who traffic in their kind in exchange for payment and in some cases "ascension" which is the act of transfusing demon blood into a human. This in turn physically changes the body into something close to that of a demons and amplifies ones gift to near full maturity.

The Devil Wars

The name given to the 1600 year war between the Demon Elysians. After landing upon the shores of Eden, Tartarus, and Malbosia the demons split into countless warring factions each wishing to establish their own kingdoms. This led to countless petty kingdoms spread across the lands held by the Demons and wars began to erupt as each tried to conquer the other. It was during this time that the Demons began the practice of enslaving humans to add to their ranks. This practice of raiding and sacking the many human kingdoms which existed between warring Demon factions eventually created the Deadlands. At the end of 1600 years 7 great kingdoms remained with 5 swearing fealty to the King of Pride Lucifer and one autonomous Kingdom Ruled by Laviathan. Though some petty Demon kingdoms exist they are not considered a threat to the rule of the 7 Great Devils and thus are left to their own devices.

Stéphane Jackal

The ruling Alpha of "Upsilon City" and its "Untouchables". Born within Upsilons very walls he witnessed many great warriors give their life for the city, the Kingdom, and it's people. During his season of enlistment he was the greatest warrior of his class, earning the rare honor of being selected to serve the Capital upon Graduation though he decides to serve his home instead. He fought in countless wars without a defeat as he bested some of the greatest warriors of the age. After "Fatal's" departure from the Kingdom and "Grant Grey-bear's" rise to power he removed himself from the "Council of Alpha's" and Upsilon seceded from the Kingdom. Upon the Savage Wolf's return himself and the Alpha's who also seceded after Upsilon decide to join forces and return Omega to it's old ways.

Chance the Ogre

Delta of the legendary "Reapers" of "Fort Omicron" a position he holds not due to lack of strength but lack of control upon the battle field. Born during the 3rd century of the "War of Four" in a village of Hades which no longer exists. His adventures would take him to every corner of Hades then eventually to Eden where he would cross paths with the "Order of Omega" and would enlist after losing a duel with the King himself "Jonathan Whispa". Upon Graduation he would be station at Fort Omicron. During the "Blood Bank War" against "Purson" and his armies he was the First to breech the walls and attack the city. After the war he oversees the new recruits of Omicron and their training.

Jackson Creed

Former general of the southern lands of the "Graveyard" and Beta to the legendary "Outlaws" of "Fort Black Valley". He was captured and tortured after the "Ambush of the Phoenix Ruins" which also saw the capture of "Sho The Outlaw", "Robert Krow", and "Ruben Pyke". After their escape from the arena of "Amon's" Kingdom the four of them formed the Outlaws of Black Valley with the warriors which escaped alongside them. After many years of resistance against the Demons the Outlaws fell at the hands of one of their own. After Rubens betrayal and the scattering of the Outlaws survivors Jackson decided to drift across Hades. He enlisted in any Pack who would have him traveling as far south and the Coast of Bones on the banks of the Sea of Styx. Eventually his adventures would take him back to Eden where he would duel and defeat "Randy Spriggan" forming a Pack with him. In time he would hear rumors of the Demon King Mammons intention to March upon the Graveyard and also the "Four Wolves" being lead by his former Alpha. This would bring him to "Spring City" and the war to come.

The man who would come to be called "Merchant Charles" was born Charles Bane in the ancient city of Defiance in the 5th century of the "Chaos Age". After activating his Immortality gene he would serve for 300 years as the Beta of the "Iron Bloods" under the cities Founder "Thomas Irons". He crossed blades
With many legendary figures of the age such as "Peter Tombs" and "Valefor". Rumors began spreading across the various towns & villages of cities mysteriously vanishing over night, destroyed in what seemed as a complete massacre, leaving no survivors. Then it came... the downfall of Defiance and the beginning of a War which would swallow the World. The first of the Horseman "War" appeared and began attacking the Kingdom. As Thomas marched to the front lines he ordered Charles to secure the evacuation of the City. He did so with the assistance of "Orca Seawolf" and his vast fleet who provided support to the Ironbloods. Charles watched from the deck of the "Bloody Tear" as Orca and Thomas fell at Wars hand and he destroyed the city Thus beginning the "War of Four"

Born in the City of werewolf hunters "Spring City" he knew nothing but war since a child. At 17 he was already seasoned in combat and could best most Betas in a duel due to his experience on the battle field. At the age of 20 he rose to the rank of Beta of Spring city during the height of the "4th Red Moon War" against Ares the Longfang and his Wolves. During the War he witnessed the adoption of Brittany and Jashley by his Alpha "Ivy Thorn" and the fall of "Red Petal". After the Wars conclusion he decided to leave Spring City and traveled east till finally deciding to Enlist in the "Kingdom of Omega". After Graduation he was station at "Fort Omicron" and acted as its recruiter traveling among the various towns and Villages under Omicron protection and bringing them to the Capitol for training. During the "Blood Bank War" against Purson he fought alongside his fellow "Reapers" of Omicron, the "Savages" of Sigma, and the "Shadows" of Psi. When the Host of Omega decended upon the demon city of "Slumber" he slaughtered hundreds of Demons before the order was given to burn the city to the ground. Upon the wars conclusion he returned to his normal duties. But now civil war is brewing within the Kingdom and choices must be made.

William Remorse

Born in the coastal city of "Brimstone" since a child he wished to be free and to him Graves were as free as any man could hope to be. At the age of 14 he decided to leave Brimstone for Eden hoping he could find adventure and carve a legacy of his own. Upon landing in Eden he traveled among the town, villages, and cities challenging any one who would accept to duels hoping to hone his skills. At 17 he challenged "Frederick Firebrand" Alpha of the "Inferno's" and was soundly defeated. But instead of taking his life Frederick instead allowed him to join the Infernos. This lead to his lust for adventure to be fulfilled and his dream of becoming a Grave realized. For 5 years he would collect bounties and contracts with the Infernos and would participate in many of the border wars of the cities which made up the southern lands of the Wildwood forest and plains. Then upon arriving at the city of Meridian he heard word that the Season of Enlistment for the Great "Kingdom of Omega" drew near. Intrigued by the rumors he decided to leave Inferno with Frederick's blessing and Enlist. Upon Graduation he was stationed at "Tau City" and its "Titans". Within a few years he would rise to the rank of Alpha and sit upon the Council of Alphas. He would share a friendship and rivalry with the Alpha of "Fort Sigma" "Fatal" before Fatal's abandonment of his post.

The working concept of the world of Armageddon.

The northernmost continent is currently known as Eden. Home to some of the most peaceful lands of Armageddon but also some of the greatest warriors found in our story. The oldest cities date back over 13,000 years to the first arrival of the Seraphim. Better known as Demons to mankind as they began to spread across the lands in their quest of dominance and power.

Across the Angry Sea lies the Continent of Tartarus. where strength and power means everything. It is a war torn land where Man fights not only against Demons but also each other to expand their kingdoms and influence. It is home to legendary cities such as The city of Asssssins known as the Necropolis and the City of Swordsman known as Kenpachi. To the east lies the Isles of Light and Shadow where the war between Vampire and man has waged for thousands of years.

Further east lies the land known as the Isle of Serpent's ruled solely by Laviathan the great Demon King.

Finally the last continent is known as Malbosia the original homeland of the Vampires known as Nightborne before being conquered by Lucifer. Not much is known about this land as no man has ever step foot upon its soil in recorded history.

Proud to finally set this page up for the independent comic series created by myself and my brother. Please join me as I am excited to share this project with all of you. Many characters will seem familiar to many of you as I have used many of my close friends as inspiration for the countless characters and storylines which fill up the world of Armageddon.
