Our team at GBH covered Ken Burns for a number of events around the 250th anniversary of the beginning of the Revolutionary War. This one for the GBH Forum Network includes a wonderful panel discussing his upcoming series.

Acclaimed filmmaker Ken Burns visited the Concord Carlisle High School and introduced a film clip from his upcoming documentary, The American Revolution, highlighting the tense and pivotal battles of Lexington and Concord that ignited the war.

ICYMI: Last Sunday we were live-streaming out of our studios at GBH during the closing minutes of Super Bowl LXI to the Fetch app where they gave away $1.2 million in the last 2 minutes of the game.

Some of our more notable stats from this game day featured a 44' long dollyshot, four of our studio cameras were rigged for vertical video, two video walls with looping animation, 70 lights, a 12,000 volt custom neon sign, 125 money cases, one million fake dollars raining down from the grid, 36 boxes of cereal, one Lazyboy recliner chair and... a mirror ball.

When Made by Monks asked us to flip, our only question was 'Which way?'.

With help from Talamas, who supplied the vertical rig for our cameras, we were able to shoot vertical, feed through our control room, and live-stream to the Fetch app.

Not a typo! Happy HALF CENTURY to GBH Senior Engineer Joe Pugliesi! He'll be up on the big screen from 12-2 p.m. today. Drop a line in the comments section if you can't give him a honk on the Pike.

A note from his colleagues: "Joe has been in the engineering department his entire career, gaining extensive experience and expertise.
