The conclusion of the story of the only response to the very first press release we ever sent - was that I made two new friends - Mike Marino and Jon King. They were the first two celebrities who gave The Torch a chance - and followed up with us constantly through the years. They were so influential in helping us build a following - and I am SO excited to announce that they will be hosting our 2026 Paddle Auction - on Saturday, October 3!
