“If you’re a weirdo right now, please keep living,” said Rayanne Hussain, a peer leader with Youth on Record. “Young weirdos will see you in the street and know they’ll be okay.”

That unforgettable line (and many more) came from a youth mental health panel at Colorado’s statewide summit. Students didn’t ask for more resources. They asked for adults who stay.
