A member of the Bristol Fourth of July Celebration committee had an item of irreplaceable sentimental value taken during this year's festivities. She is offering $1,000 for anyone who can help get it back.

Elaine Rusk has volunteered her time and energy to Bristol's Fourth of July Celebration since becoming a resident shortly after Covid struck. Now she's looking for help finding something irreplaceable that was taken from her.

Jessica Almeida received more votes than any other candidate. Carly Reich won re-election to the school board and Adam McGovern secured the third open seat.

Voters elected Jessica Almeida (3,062), re-elected Carly Reich (2,471), and elected Adam McGovern (2,427) out of the eight eligible candidates on the ballot for school committee.

A recent harrowing incident in the cafeteria at the Guiteras School ended well, thanks to the skills and quick thinking of custodian Bobby Santos.
