HEY, BEARCATS! 🧡🖤

It’s almost time to come home.

For the third year, we’re bringing Bearcats from every graduating class back together at the VHS Homecoming game for our All-Class Reunion — and we want to see this thing GROW.

Whether you graduated 5 years ago or 50+ years ago, this is your reunion. Come find old friends, reconnect with people you haven’t seen in years, meet Bearcats from other generations, and be part of what we’re building through the VHS Bearcat Alumni Society.

And bring your family! We want them to see the place, the people and the community that helped make you who you are. 🐾

🕕 Reunion begins at 6:00 PM and continues through the game

Remember Halloween in the 70’s and 80’s? Crowded streets, awesome decorations, ghosts and goblins, treats at every house?
This year bring your kiddos to Georgia Avenue in Bristol Tennessee! Last year was amazing. Hundreds of kids. We had a ton of candy and treats but still ran out twice. Most homes were decorated and giving out treats. It was a throwback to when Halloween was so much fun as a kid. It was magical. This year will be no different. We are already getting excited, planning and focused on making this year bigger and better!!

A Bristol favorite is getting some national attention! 🍔

Burger Bar in Bristol, Virginia, will be featured on USA Network’s food show “Everything on the Menu” where WWE star Braun Strowman travels across the country attempting to eat every item on restaurant menus.

This marks the first time Burger Bar has been featured on a food show, and owner Joe Deel says he’s excited for the opportunity to showcase the restaurant and reach a new audience.

The Burger Bar episode is expected to air Friday after WWE on USA Network.

🏁 It takes a community to bring the Soap Box Derby to life.

This year's event is made possible by great community partners. From supporting the race experience and providing volunteers to helping eliminate hunger in our community and celebrate our winners, each partner plays an important role in making the Derby a memorable, fun, and impactful event.
