Installing under ground communication cables for the city's new Public Safety building a block up the road.

Some Fresh Paint
The City Hall LFL is now 10 years old. Time to cover up the growing graffiti inside (of all places) and behind the door. Plus the old touch up paint on the door was fading badly.
This box is very busy moving over 1000 books per year. Very few are returned. So we ask again.

Landmark Publication
Silent Spring by Rachel Carson changed how many folks see Nature. If only more people read it.
We have a few gardening books to go out including Square Foot Gardening and the sequel to the Victory Garden.
~ DONATIONS NEEDED ~ We are out of almost everything with the exception of Romance paperbacks. Want more diversity? Donate some books. Just add a few to the LFLs when visiting.

So Close
Sunday morning at the Boys & Girls Club LFL sitting precariously close to road widening work. The park is shrinking and this section is getting no maintenance. The oldest LFL in the city remains active.

One More LFL
A friend who stewards the Westgate Mall LFL has asked us to help out while she is under the weather. Gladly.
Now we have 4 boxes in our system, at least for a while. It's small, sitting by the Burlington store. Visit next time you are at the Mall.

Our Roots

It started when the community garden added the first Little Free Library in the city. Charter # 26239. Three satellite LFLs soon popped up around the core of the city. I sort of adopted them when the initial Stewards lost interest. Years later the subject came up with the owner of Cary Hill Superwash Laundromat. A deal was struck ~ they acquire and install on their property while I feed and promote. Their clientele enjoy the extra perc as the community shares. All is good.
