Heads up to the area!
🚨 SCAM ALERT – PLEASE SHARE 🚨
We’ve received multiple reports from customers about a fraudulent scam targeting our community. Here's what you need to know:
📱 How it starts:
Customers are getting texts and calls from a 402 area code claiming there’s been an attempted charge on their account.
📞 What happens next:
After replying, they receive another text saying someone will call them shortly. The caller claims to be an NSB employee and says there’s been a data breach affecting over 300 accounts.
💳 What they know:
These scammers may have current or old card info and personal details (from previous third-party breaches). They ask customers to log in and share recent transactions.
📧 Suspicious email:
Some customers are also receiving emails from [email protected] — this is NOT from NSB.
🔒 Stay safe:
• Do NOT share personal or banking info over the phone or email.
• NSB will never ask for login details over a call or text.
• If you receive a suspicious message, hang up and call us directly.
