Dad is healing.
They closed him up yesterday. He's being weened off the ventilator and probably sedatives too. I'm not sure but I think he'll be going to a rehab from the hospital but first he has to get out of ICU.
Just a short catch up for those that don't know: Dad was trying to start his old pickup and somehow it ran him over breaking his collar bone and all ribs on the right side, and had internal bleeding. He had surgery Monday night they removed part of his colon and because of some complications the surgical entrance was left open until yesterday. So now he's closed up but damn another tender wound I'm sure.
So Dad has a slow and painful recovery ahead of him. I sure am happy to tell him of all the folks praying for him. Not sure when I'll get to talk to him but I'll tell him.
