Thinking of all our neighbors after last night’s storm.

So many in Brookfield, Bethel, Newtown, New Fairfield, New Milford, and the surrounding areas were hit hard. There are trees down, roads blocked, widespread outages, and so many people without power. We’ve been without power since the beginning of the storm and are still waiting for updates.

Please check in below and let us know you’re okay. Share photos if you can, post updates about outages, road closures, or areas to avoid, and please check on your neighbors.

This is when community matters most.

TIP-A-COP 2026 HAS BEEN POSTPONED

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the 2026 Tip-A-Cop fundraiser has been postponed.

A new date will be announced soon (TBD).

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Connecticut. We look forward to seeing everyone at the rescheduled event and continuing to raise funds for these incredible athletes.

Our officers will be trading in their badges for aprons as they help serve guests and collect tips to support the incredible athletes of Special Olympics Connecticut. Every dollar raised goes directly toward providing year-round sports training, competition opportunities, and life-changing experiences for Special Olympics athletes.

Bring your family, enjoy great food and drinks, meet your local officers, and help us make a difference—one tip at a time!
