Thank you to all who came to our annual fundraiser this past weekend.

With your support, we raised nearly $7,000. These funds will go directly to Brookfield families needing assistance with Parks and Recreation programming.

As we near the end of the year, we want to thank all of you for supporting the Brookfield Parks & Recreation Foundation. Since our inception in September 2021, we have raised more than $50,000 and paid over $33,000 in scholarships to Brookfield families.

Help us finish 2024 strong by making an end-of-year donation to the Brookfield Parks & Recreation Foundation. Donations are tax-deductible and go directly to scholarships for Brookfield families.

2024 Highlights
- Granted more than $16,000 in scholarships to local families, helping enroll children in summer camp, before/after school care, and other parks and recreation programs.
- With the support from the Brookfield Women's Club of Illinois, we sold more than 3,000 ducks, tripling last year's numbers for the Brookfield Annual Duck Race. These efforts raised over $15,000 for The Foundation.
- Hosted the village’s first-ever pickleball fundraiser tournament where eight teams participated in a round-robin style tournament, bringing lots of energy and excitement to the new pickleball courts at Elhert Park.

Our sincere gratitude to everyone who came out to support us at Imperial Oak on Thursday night and to all who donated in lieu of attendance! We raised over $5K through this event, in addition to the generous (and large) check that we were presented by the Brookfield Women's Club of Illinois for the Duck Race that we are looking forward to distributing to offset Parks and Recreation programming costs for qualifying local families.

We had so much fun handing out candy at Brook Park Elementary’s and Congress Park Elementary’s Trunk-or-Treat events tonight on behalf of the foundation and Brookfield Women's Club of Illinois and the Linda Sokol Francis Brookfield Library it was scary! 👻

It’s the final Quackdown!! Only a few more weeks until the Brookfield Women's Club of Illinois Duck Race. We are so grateful that they selected to support our foundation with this race. Come on down to the Farmer’s Market this morning to purchase!
