💛 Kindness was overflowing at in last week! Kind Works Executive Director Cody Foss is still smiling after an incredible fundraiser! 🎉✨ The event brought together supporters from near and far — some just minutes away and some traveling all the way from Tucson — all united for one purpose: spreading kindness and supporting the work Kind Works does in our communities.

🫶Every person who attended, donated, and showed support helps keep Kind Works moving forward, keeping studio doors open and allowing their mission of creating kindness to continue making an impact every day. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who believes in kindness, community, and making a difference.

“Ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.” — John F. Kennedy

💫 🇺🇸 Today we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice is the reason we live in freedom today, and their legacy lives on in every American heart.

On this Memorial Day, we remember not only their courage, but the enduring call to serve something greater than ourselves.

❤️ We remember
🤍 We honor
💙 We never forget

This coming Monday, May 25th, at 9:30 A.M., the Danbury Memorial Day Parade will take place on Main Street. Please expect temporary road closures and traffic impacts along the parade route during the event. Main Street will be closed at approximately 9:00 A.M.

05/24/2026

Due to inclement weather, the Brookfield Memorial Day Parade scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled.

While we are disappointed the community will not be able to gather for this year’s parade, we encourage everyone to take time this Memorial Day weekend to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Please stay safe and have a meaningful Memorial Day weekend.
