Just beyond Historic Brookhaven sits Lynwood Park, a neighborhood rich in history, resilience, and community. Established in the early 1930s, it became DeKalb County’s first predominantly Black community, built by families who created a thriving neighborhood filled with businesses, churches, and connection.

35 pounds… and already treed six bears 😳

Rabun Porter may be small, but this Boykin Spaniel is built for adventure. From 18-mile hikes and snowy treks in North Georgia to swimming alongside his family at Lake Burton, he’s always on the move… as long as his people are right there with him.

At home in Historic Brookhaven, he’s just as loyal, making sure no one gets left behind, claiming his favorite seat, and occasionally letting himself out the door (but never closing it behind him).

Neighbors who share easy recipes are the best kind of neighbors.

In the March issue of Stroll Historic Brookhaven, neighbor Nancy Jiang brings us another delicious idea from Nancy’s Curious Kitchen.

While preparing a cooking class for young moms, Nancy set out to create something quick, comforting, and full of flavor. Her discovery at Buford Highway Farmers Market changed everything: Lebanese pita bread makes the perfect thin, crisp pizza base that can hold generous toppings without getting soggy.

The result is an easy recipe she now serves at gatherings, parties, and casual nights with friends. The trays always come back empty.

Join us for Brunch at the Barn, a joyful and inspiring morning in support of Chastain Horse Park’s therapeutic riding program.

Hosted by Cynthia Carns and Alison Jowers Womack, guests will gather at the Park’s clubhouse for a champagne brunch by , exclusive shopping at a pop-up featuring Adam Lippes, Partlow, and Kastel Jewelry, live models, and an inspiring talk from Atlanta’s own Tanya Sam

Guests will also have the opportunity to tour the therapeutic riding program and see firsthand the extraordinary impact it has on riders and their families.

It promises to be a beautiful blend of community, fashion, and purpose, with proceeds directly supporting the Park’s therapeutic programs.

Meet our February Cover Family, the Stevens 🤍

Tricia and Mark Stevens’ love story began in high school and has grown into a life rooted in family, tradition, and Historic Brookhaven.

After reconnecting years later, they built their home on Club Circle, raised their children Jack and Caroline, and recently celebrated both of their weddings in a beautiful season of joy. From Tricia’s eighth generation Atlanta roots tied to Rhodes Bakery to Mark playing drums at the receptions, their story is woven with legacy and music.

When Cory Lites’ son Cooper was diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research walked alongside their family every step of the way.

Today, Cooper is cancer free and Marguerite’s on Dresden is giving back to the organization that supported them during their hardest season.

Through their Wall of Hope art auction and Holiday Open House, Marguerite’s raised nearly $10,000 in December 2025 alone, with 100 percent of auction proceeds benefiting Rally. Since its founding, Rally has funded more than $40 million in pediatric cancer research and supported countless families.

Jess had been quietly talking to a breeder in Idaho for months before telling his family a puppy was on the way.

Pepper, their eight year old Italian Spinone, arrived in a red collar and quickly claimed her role as the princess of Club Drive. She greets guests with a toy, follows her people from room to room, and makes sure the petting never stops.
