The other day I was daydreaming about some of the more unusual guitars I’ve had, like the , Mark XII, and . While I liked the vibe these puppies exuded and admired those players who played them regularly, I never really used any of them for anything. I always just went for the old standbys like Gibson and Fender. It was fun checking them out and all but in the end they all went on their way.

I finished my basic guitar tracks yesterday and brought home all the 20th century guitars and cleaned the sweat gunk off of them. There may still be some extra guitar bits to record but I’ll probably do them at home and will go pick up the things that are still at the studio sometime in the next few days. Anyway here’s a series of photos of the one piece of gear that I’ve been recording with since almost the beginning, my . I bought it in 1989 and it’s been with me ever since. 👍🏼

Day three of tracking .belle.curves LP4 is complete, as is the basic tracking 💙. Tomorrow we’ll be doing some overdubs and vocalizing. Oh, btw it was still hot as hell, but seemed a bit more tolerable than yesterday. Maybe it’s because it was a bit cloudy today. Idk 🤷‍♂️

Day two of .belle.curves recording is complete with three or four more songs tracked. I don’t remember the exact number....

So it’s Monday morning and I’m continuing to shake things up around here. It’s gonna be a busy July and between the recording and family travel plans I’m gonna need some folding money. I listed the Marshall combo over the weekend and I’m considering offering up this cool 1967 as well. I’ll make my final decision in another day or so but if you know anyone that would be interested let me know.
