The Battery Point Lighthouse has been in use since December 1856. The lighthouse is open to tours and provides a fascinating glimpse into how hard life was for the lightkeepers and their families. This photo shows the living quarters and the turret with the light flashing while a gorgeous Del Norte sunset and dusk is in the background.

Holiday Lights Trolley Tour through Jacksonville, OR. Get over here!

If you're wanting to ride on the trolley but the Holiday Lights Tour is full, just a reminder, the narrated history trolley has plenty of room! Wally Trolley can seat up to 20 riders. It's offering five 45-minute tours Friday-Sunday during Victorian Christmas. Only $12/adults and $6/12 and under. No reservations needed.
