Benji Thompson, and the BIG KICKER? Pete Peterson! You may remember him as the well driller brought by EPD to console the people and tell us the water would be just fine. Not a hydroecologist or any sort of professional, nope, the well driller who sits on the water council making state water plans but instead of conservation these guys sell it to the highest bidder. Who f🤬 cares what happens to the region, wildlife or people right!? We're making 💰!! That's not all... Pete Peterson from Breland Well Drilling has been appointed to head the mitigation fund!!! YES THAT'S RIGHT! The guy on the board for water planning has been HIRED BY THESE CROOKS to head the mitigation fund..... A guy who makes MONEY off the dewatering of wells... Where does the corruption end..... Has he been hired to drill the wells as well🤔 Time for changes, big ones. 🧐

737 thousand dollars.... that's the average cost in state and federal funding and incentives on the metaplant PER JOB OPENING! Imagine if we took that funding and incentive and gave that amount to 6300 small American businesses! Well that would be an estimated job creation of 27000 LOCAL job openings and stimulate the American Economy.

There are people scanning our communities pages looking for any opposition to Hyundai. While some are harder to track down and find the origination, others are not, like this lady who openly bullies anyone voicing concerns, even going as far as attacking them personally and trashing their livelihoods, so much for the "Christ follower" in her🙄. As suspected this woman is on the financial gain side of this with a husband who's followed Hyundai all the way from the s**t Alabama plant where children are forced to build EV cars. I hope you get right with Jesus lady, but until you do, stay away from our community pages.

Well Hyundai refuses to give the amount for water needed. Why are these wells still in the permitting process when it is a DIRECT VIOLATION of EPD rules and procedure? The applicant must provide amount, justification for use, all modeling and impacts and conservation plans.... yet EPD is doing all the work and going against their own standards. They are also NOT supposed to issue permits that cause adverse effects on the existing population. Well a million dollar mitigation fund says they EXPECT major adverse impacts. When will we get some accountability from the EPD to do their job and deny these permits that go against their own standard? How much tax payer money has been spent just on EPD hours for this project!?

Here's a preview of the jobs we're selling our vital resources for..... unlivable wages with the ever rising cost of living BECAUSE of this plants existence, taxes up 22-50% or more in certain areas. By the time 2028 rolls around their "upped" wages will be the same or even LESS money then they're offering now compared to rising living expense. I want you to REALLY put this in perspective..... These are McDonalds wages!!!!! We paid BILLIONS in OUR own money to foot the bill for this foreign plant, have our water being stripped from under us, for the jobs our POS governor thinks us poor rural folk need. We don't know what's best for us, they do. Heavy taxation, no representation.

So looks like the 25 year timeline is coordinating with Savannah SEDA's intent on a new water facility, and yes it was always the plan for them to supply Hyundai. So they're asking industries to conserve a cumulative total of 2mgd next year and going forward, but then plan to sell 4mgd to Hyundai in the future.I wonder how board director Trip Tollison made out on this deal? He's the Applicant supplying false info on USACE 404 permit, CEO of SEDA, Chair of JDA, "wife" owns a construction company..... I'd love to see his financials before this fiasco and after. In seats of power to bring wealth to yourself, the American Government Way🤢

Question: could it be that this whole water scandal is a preconceived plot against the local communities? Could it be that these wells and permits were NEVER really about Hyundai but for Bryan County? In other countries Hyundai has extensive water recycling facilities and is leaving nearly a zero carbon footprint yet here it is somehow impossible🤔 they don't even have a water conservation plan, even though it's required in the permitting process. Is it possible this water theft is to keep Bryan County open for business as current water restrictions would prevent growth in that county? They sure seem to be controlling it despite it not even being in their county. Maybe it was never about Hyundai.....

Here's a story of the heavy hand of the county threatening to take land from a resident near HWY 80. They want to "purchase" a couple acres for a water transfer station. This family doesn't want to sell their land, and not ALL their land at that! The county just wants to own a piece out of it, you can work around them. A lawyer has been involved but ultimately, if there can't be an agreement this land will be taken for eminent domain. When did we start taking land on behalf of corporations? Want to know what a water transfer station is?
A water transfer station is a facility that collects and disposes of liquids generated from solid waste or floor cleaning at a transfer station. The dangers of living near these are Noise, Odors, Property value loss, Heavy truck traffic, and exposure to a chemical known as leachate. This chemical can be toxic to aquatic life and may pose a threat to human health including cancer. This is the new America we live in. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.
