“Anywhere, anytime you’re making change, especially when it’s big and it impacts a lot of different people, there are going to be people that are uncomfortable with it. It comes from many different sources, it comes from people [who think] that the way we’ve always done it is the easy thing, the low energy state. You have to overcome some of that stagnation or the fear of change and have a really clear sense of urgency around it. There’s always going to be some backlash to that too,” Special Education Coordinator of Therapeutic Programs Jedidiah Miller said.
