Please join us on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Shiloh Temple as we gather to remember his spirit, his laughter, his music, his life and the legacy he leaves in all of us.

This Public celebration will take place at Shiloh Temple located at 1201 W. Broadway Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55411.

This service is from 11am to 2pm with repast immediately afterward for Family & Close Friends Only.

After we lost our Regal The Rare, Jellybean spent his days just trying to keep us functioning. In that first year we started pouring through his extensive catalog of music 98% unreleased.
This song always stood out because the lyrics suggest that Regal understood the basic foundation of life, time is nonsequential. Time is a construct of humans in a linear form to help us function but truly it is a made up construct by humans in this dimension. It does not exist.
Regal knew this and he turned it into a rave and we turned it into a little family video.

The last photo ever taken of myself and the love of my life. It is also the last photo of Jellybean Johnson November 19, 2025 Jellybean’s birthday, and sadly his last, and we spent it seeing the Purple Rain musical at the State Theater. He loved it!
I’ve spent 26 birthdays with you and you with me. My partner, best friend and the best father in the world.
Jazzmin, Georgia Blues, Gigi, Mo and myself know you are with your beloved Regal The Rare and we take comfort in that.

Four years ago today I lost my son. And he IS my son. I helped raise him and teach him about life. He grew tall like me, he fit my clothes. He loved music like me and made his own music. And when he left me, my heart was broken. When you truly love a child they become a part of you and you become a part of them.
