Before social media, before streaming platforms, there were two kings who changed hip-hop forever: Tupac Shakur (2Pac) and Christopher Wallace, popularly known as The Notorious B.I.G. (Biggie Smalls).
2Pac was born in New York in 1971. He was more than a rapper; he was a poet, actor, and voice for people going through pain and struggles. His songs spoke about poverty, family, injustice, and hope. Fans loved him because he always spoke from the heart.
Biggie was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1972. His smooth flow, storytelling skills, and powerful lyrics made him one of the greatest rappers ever. He turned his difficult childhood experiences into music that inspired millions.
During the 1990s, 2Pac and Biggie dominated the rap industry. Their songs topped charts, sold millions of records, and helped make hip-hop a global movement. Together, they pushed rap music to new heights and created a legacy that still lives on today.
Sadly, both legends died at a very young age.
2Pac was shot in Las Vegas in September 1996 and passed away at just 25 years old. Six months later, in March 1997, Biggie was shot in Los Angeles and died at only 24 years old.
Their deaths shocked the world and left millions of fans heartbroken. Even decades later, people still listen to their music, quote their lyrics, and celebrate their impact on culture.
Legends never truly die. 2Pac and Biggie may be gone, but their voices continue to inspire generations around the world.
