FROM THE STREETS OF LAGOS TO INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS: THE INSPIRING STORY OF PATORANKING 🇳🇬❤️

Not everyone allows their struggles to determine their future. Patoranking is a beautiful example of someone who turned his struggles into motivation.

Born Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie on May 27, 1990, Patoranking is from Ebonyi State and was raised in Lagos. Growing up was not easy. He sold goods in traffic and worked as a street and carnival dancer before finding his way into music.

His breakthrough came in 2013 with “Alubarika” featuring Timaya. The song helped introduce Patoranking to a wider audience.

In 2014, “Girlie O” and its remix featuring Tiwa Savage pushed his career even further.

He went on to release hit songs like “My Woman, My Everything,” “Available,” “Abule” and “Celebrate Me.” His debut album, God Over Everything, also reached No. 4 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart in 2016.

Today, Patoranking is an internationally recognised African artist who has taken his music from the streets of Lagos to stages around the world.

But perhaps the most beautiful part of his story is that he has not forgotten where he came from. Through his foundation, he has supported young people with education and scholarships. ❤️
