Power went out last Friday night at PRISM Golden Valley, MN after lightning struck a nearby power line. Electricity wasn't restored until 12 hours later. To add insult to injury, the food-shelf's walk-in refrigerator blew a breaker and needed professional repairs. Nearly 2,700 pounds of refrigerated food had to be tossed.

The Hennepin County Attorney's Office announced last week that it doesn't plan to prosecute people linked to "low-level traffic stops." But local law enforcement leaders tell CCX News they are concerned about that strategy.
