Artist Adam Turman is known for his bold artistic style. He recently visited Trillium Woods senior living community in to celebrate the birthdays of 40 residents with a special painting. Once Turman finishes the painting, Trillium Woods will hang it up as a permanent celebration.

The City of New Hope, City of Crystal, MN - Local Government and City of Robbinsdale, MN - Government along with the West Metro Fire-Rescue District have joined together to once again offer Wet And Wild Water Day. It’s happening Friday, August 1 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Valley Place Park in Crystal.
Event, put on by cities of Crystal, New Hope, and Robbinsdale, along with West Metro Fire-Rescue District, offers lots of ways to beat the heat this summer.

Erickson Saye, a Hennepin County prosecutor, has announced on social media that he will run for the Minnesota House District 34B seat held by the late state Rep. Melissa Hortman. Saye wrote on his website that he was raised in the northwest suburbs in a proud Liberian-American household. Saye is the third DFL candidate to announce a campaign.

A facility that would help people with traumatic brain injuries is proposed in . Solbakken Minnesota is proposing to build an assisted living facility on a site south of Old Rockford Road and west of Peony Lane. The one-story building would have a total of 28 units.

Federal prosecutors have unsealed a six-count indictment against Vance Boelter, the alleged assassin who targeted lawmakers. Boelter faces six federal charges including murder and stalking. Prosecutors believe he acted alone in what they describe as a case of “political extremism.”

Brooklyn Center city staff members discovered last month that a recuperative health care business was operating out of Suburban Studios without city permission. The city council then revoked the hotel's hospitality license. However, the hotel owners said they'd take the council's decision to appeals court.

When a storefront along 42nd Avenue became available, the team behind Cullens Ice Cream decided to scoop it up. The ice cream and candy shop also has locations in Champlin and C**n Rapids.
Cullens Ice Cream has shops in Champlin and C**n Rapids. The owners opened a new location in New Hope in early July.

Our Story
CCX Media is a nonprofit community media organization that has served Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Crystal, Golden Valley, Maple Grove, New Hope, Osseo, Plymouth and Robbinsdale for almost 40 years. We produce a daily newscast. We operate a production truck to broadcast or stream live sporting events, parades, and concerts. We operate multi-media studios and provide hands-on training for volunteers to make their own videos. We partner with our member cities to cover city meetings and produce informational segments.
