Power went out last Friday night at PRISM Golden Valley, MN after lightning struck a nearby power line. Electricity wasn't restored until 12 hours later. To add insult to injury, the food-shelf's walk-in refrigerator blew a breaker and needed professional repairs. Nearly 2,700 pounds of refrigerated food had to be tossed.

Our Story

CCX Media is a nonprofit community media organization that has served Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Crystal, Golden Valley, Maple Grove, New Hope, Osseo, Plymouth and Robbinsdale for almost 40 years. We produce a daily newscast. We operate a production truck to broadcast or stream live sporting events, parades, and concerts. We operate multi-media studios and provide hands-on training for volunteers to make their own videos. We partner with our member cities to cover city meetings and produce informational segments.
