New Project Launching from Iron Gates Media

We’re proud to announce our newest production:
Today We Almost Died, a fiction narrative podcast that blends sharp comedy, emotional nuance, and pandemic-era chaos — all set in a cramped Brooklyn apartment.

Pilot episode premieres June 26, 2025, created by Brandon Gates — and yes, it’s dropping on his birthday!

The story follows a group of mismatched roommates navigating lockdown, love, grief, and absurdity in real time.

It’s already gaining international recognition:
• Best Comedy Screenplay – Prague International Film Awards
• Best Feature Script – London Movie Awards
• Best Comedy Screenplay – Sofia Art Film Awards

We’re also launching a $20,000 fundraising campaign the same day to bring Season 1 to life — helping us pay the actors, writers, sound engineers, and creatives who are the heart of this series.

This is indie storytelling at its boldest and most human.
