☀️ direct light photography tips:

1. set your settings to just a bit on the darker side, to retain all the information possible from the highlights and white clothing, elements, etc. when you are editing, feel free to brighten it back up.

2. consider counting down to every *click*—allowing your model to rest their eyes shut before it’s time to take the photo. this will prevent them from looking like their squinting too hard.

3. add something reflective ✨ or glimmering to give the photo a pop of shine and light flare.

4. incorporate movement and moisture—you have to shoot at super quick speeds in the sun, so why not utilize that?! play with flowing hair, twirling, swinging, etc. to add some fun in the sun. and always pack some sunscreen or baby oil to get that skin shining ✨
