Celebrating Black Women – Past and Present
This Women’s History Month, Good Day Diaspora honors the courage, strength, and vision of Black women — from freedom fighters like Harriet Tubman and Sojourner Truth, to civil rights leaders like Rosa Parks and Shirley Chisholm, to literary and modern icons like Maya Angelou, Michelle Obama, and Kamala Harris.
We also celebrate African queens and warriors who shaped civilizations — Queen Nzinga, Yaa Asantewaa, Makeda, the Queen of Sheba — and Biblical heroines like Deborah and Esther, whose wisdom and bravery inspire generations.
This month, let us honor all women: mothers, educators, entrepreneurs, ministers, and community leaders who continue to strengthen our communities and guide our future.
Her story is liberation. Her story is leadership. Her story is our shared legacy.
