I am thrilled for the World Premiere at of my new short film Ani Liu: Eye Heart Womb on November 15th at 1:45pm, at the IFC Center. The film features artist .liu.studio Ani Liu, who creates multi-sensory work at the intersection of art, science, and technology. I have so much respect and admiration for Ani - her work is born out of the full range of her emotions and senses, and rooted in deep research. She feels, imagines, tinkers, builds, and manifests objects that provoke us to ask questions about our bodies and gender. I feel especially connected to her, as a fellow artist with an interest in science, as a fellow working mother, and a Chinese American with close relationships to our family.
