Some say he fell from orbit. Others swear he rose from beneath the asphalt of a forgotten borough, pulled upward by basslines too heavy for the Earth to contain. Either way, Kid Graavity has never moved like a normal artist—he bends time, warps sound, and appears only when the signal demands it.

First detected in 2015, emerging alongside Someplace Called Brooklyn operatives Dani Mari and , Graavity’s early transmissions hinted at something deeper than rap: coded messages wrapped in rhyme, delivered from somewhere between comic book panels and cosmic radio frequencies.

Then, silence.

No interviews. No sightings. Just fragments - verses passed between underground circles, whispers of a figure studying the collapse of culture from the shadows.

But disappearance is part of the design.

Kid Graavity operates on gravitational cycles. Long periods of absence followed by sudden, undeniable pull. His sound exists in a dimension adjacent to boom bap and experimental hip hop, where villain monologues meet superhero origin stories, and every bar feels like it was etched into metal rather than recorded.

Comparisons to DOOM were inevitable but incomplete. Where DOOM wore the mask of a supervillain, Graavity is the anomaly itself: a force, not a face. Less persona, more phenomenon.

Now, after years off-grid, the signal returns.

On April 17, re-emerged with “Heathens”- his third official release and a recalibration of his mission. The track channels a world unraveling at the seams: fractured truth, digital hysteria, spiritual dislocation. But instead of commentary, Graavity delivers intervention: verses that feel like transmissions from a parallel timeline where clarity still exists.

No rollouts. No overexposure. No algorithms.

Just gravity.

And whether you believe in him or not…
you’re already being pulled in.

From Mumbai to Goa, the journey continues 🎛️🌴
Suushmita, El Chonky, and Brooklyn Shanti stopped by the Roland Artist Center in Mumbai to dial in sounds, swap ideas, and load up on inspiration.

Next stop: a remote recording destination in Goa, where Roland hardware and Roland Cloud will power new sessions for upcoming album releases on Someplace Called Brooklyn.
