For this edition, and will reimagine Donuts by J Dilla - and there’s no Donuts without Lightworks, the 1959 track by visionary electronic music composer Raymond Scott and singer Dorothy Collins.

PN fam is hosting the season closer of Movie Club next Thursday!

Movie Club is a screening series that showcases amazing films with a strong musical component, be it the score or subject matter. With sound being such a crucial aspect of the Movie Club experience, the event is hosted at a private DIY loft space decked out with an impressive audiophile speaker system. 

Next Thursday at Movie Club, we'll be screening Franco Rosso's Babylon. Showcasing the lives of Black British youth in South London, Babylon puts UK sound system culture at the forefront of its drama. After premiering at Cannes' Critics Week in 1980, it was given an X rating and banned from screening in the US until 2019 due to its incendiary-yet-accurate depiction of police brutality and racial violence. Well, light it up. Ever relevant and anchored by BIG chunes, Babylon brings to the screen all the energy and soul of the reggae and dub music it features.

✨New music out today✨ We are proud to present People’s Dream, a new release from NYC-based vibraphonist and electronic producer .

Inspired by Francis Bebey and Don Cherry’s electronic music from the 70s and 80s, People’s Dream draws heavily from modal jazz, minimalism, and dance music. It blends tightly composed percussive phrases with freely moving melodic improvisations that feel as much at home in a DIY loft space as they do on a custom-built sound system at .

On the B-side, UK producer and label-head flips Lucid into a driving, bass-oriented club track, fit for vibrant dancefloors this summer.

We are heading upstate for our nineteenth edition of Take Two!

On Saturday July 23rd, we will feature the pioneers of desert blues Tinariwen and their 2004 album Amassakoul.

Hailing from the Sahara Desert region of northern Mali, the band are self-proclaimed poet-guitarists and soul rebels, achieving worldwide recognition for their guitar-driven, hypnotic, bluesy sound.

The live reinterpretation will be led by and an ⭐️all-star band⭐️ This will be Nikhil's third time performing at Take Two — it gets better each and every time.

The location of this edition is special as we will be hosting the event at , a 75-acre property with a spacious barn and private access to a swimming lake if you fancy a dip!
