We’re thrilled to announce ’s new album “Life in Small Spaces”, coming to you across all platforms August 21st, 2026! This record sees Black Marble comment on the music industry and his role within it, reflecting on how underground music has changed over time, and how a blueprint for keeping things simple and being true to oneself is the only ideal for living in this complicated landscape.

“It’s ok for people to sacrifice some degree of creature comfort in order to live a life you believe in. And it doesn’t have to be an endless search for something just out of reach, it can be a permanent way of being and something that sustains you.” - Chris Stewart, p.k.a. Black Marble

Today is the day! ’s Movement is out today in all of its stunning glory! With Movement, Masin returns to the ambience for which he is renowned but reinvents it. Fueled by creative rebirth and rhythmic motion, he moves seamlessly between melancholy MIDI, technoid robotics, groovy liminal cloudscapes, and fathoms-deep ambient aquatics.

The album’s title has a double meaning; the first of which reflects on Masin’s place within the pantheon of ambient greats, his ongoing artistic ambitions, and his aspirations for a scene which he’s seen grow exponentially from humble beginnings. “Slow ambient isn’t for me anymore, so I strived to create a new form. The possibilities are endless, and I want to try and drive things forward,” he comments. “When I started making music, no one cared, but now the genre has become a big movement. I’m excited by what others do, and I want to learn from the young. We’re all part of something.”

All tracks composed, produced and mixed by Gigi Masin in Venice.
