Accepted artists will work closely with FOA in the bookmaking process. Each artist will have at least four pages dedicated to their work and a short essay written about their work by an arts writer.

Adi T. Hoffman is an artist based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Hoffman lived in California from 2006 to 2012, where she studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and graduated from SFSS California. She has had three solo exhibitions and participated in multiple group exhibitions. In early 2024, she held a solo exhibition titled “Bardo” at the Binyamin Gallery (Tel Aviv), which was curated by Hadas Glazer.

Ben Steele is an artist, educator, and community organizer living in Atlanta, GA. He studied at Washington University in St. Louis, Yale University, and Maryland Institute College of Art before moving to Atlanta to pursue a career in the arts. His oil paintings have been displayed at many galleries locally and nationally in addition to The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia and The High Museum.

is a Dominican-Puerto Rican artist Living in the United States.

His work explores themes of identity, race, material culture, and social inequality through the lens of an Afro-Caribbean lens. He has exhibited nationally and internationally, with shows at the Santo Domingo Museum of Modern Art, Vox Populi in Philadelphia, and Schau Fenster in Berlin. He is also a 2021 Mural Arts Fellow and has participated in art residencies at Elsewhere, Museum (Greensboro, NC) and Tiger Strikes Asteroid (Philadelphia, PA).

As an extension of his practice, he advocates for artists needs in his work as Director of Artist Relations at MAP Philadelphia, he is also the co-creator of Philly Group Crit and is an educator in Philadelphia, PA
