Look for quality, experience and a strong passion for all styles of music. Many, not all DJs tend to go through the motions and play the same format most of the time. You get what you pay for, so if the price seems a bit low, there is probably a reason for that. There will always be someone willing to do it cheaper and claim to be able to offer the same thing; it’s rarely true. You're paying for t

he many years of experience, not the few hours of an event. I personally like to show up AT LEAST 2 hours before any event, especially if it's somewhere I have not been before. Planning for the unexpected is key, so having that extra time will ensure success every time and will leave little to no room for error.

This snippet was taken from an 8 1/2 hour wedding set I played in a beautiful backyard along a river in New Jersey. Threw some Night At The Roxbury quotes in there after the fact cause the mix goes in that direction at one point + the family has a special connection to the movie as well. Enjoy and try not to skip around...you might miss a goodie.

Met you guys for the first time that day and it felt like I knew you both just as long as I have known your family & friends.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Salvatore (da vinci) is a disc jockey primarily stationed in the New York metropolitan area. As a life-long music enthusiast, he has developed an in-depth knowledge of numerous genres, continuously seeking new styles to incorporate into his sets. The result is a distinct fusion of multiculturalism that pushes the boundaries of deejaying. His ability to blend genres such as soul, funk, disco, reggae, hip-hop, dance and afrobeat, transports his audience on a beat driven voyage around the globe.

In addition to being a DJ, da vinci is a skilled audio engineer who has worked with numerous actors and musicians such as Paul Rudd, T.J. Miller, Liev Schreiber, Steve Schirripa, Bridget Moynahan, Yo-Yo Ma and Junior Reid.
