The Passing of Joel-T:

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that Jam Kam Entertainment announces the passing of our beloved brother, DJ Joel-T. Joel-T was an instrumental member of Jam Kam Entertainment and helped to establish the brand as a force to be reconned with. Joel was a staple in the New York City dancehall market and helped popularize a unique form of dancing called “daggering.”

Joel was a musical genius who could flip the switch and turn Jam Kam from a juggling sound favored by the ladies to a clash sound with an arsenal of unique recordings called dubplates.

Joel-T will be sorely missed by his family and friends; he was a son, a brother, an uncle, and a close friend to many. Joel-T left an indelible mark on us all; he helped bring people together with his love and ability to play music; we will continue juggling the sound as he intended. Joel-T will live forever in our hearts. We know he is in heaven doing what he loved to do, play music.

May his soul and spirit rest in eternal peace. Long live DJ Joel-T!
