The DOJ is investigating California First Lady Jennifer Siebel Newsom over possible tax issues involving her nonprofits. Federal investigators have been talking to associates, issuing subpoenas, and requesting records.
Here’s the part Newsom doesn’t want you to know:
This investigation started LAST YEAR — in 2025 — from whistleblower complaints handled by the Sacramento U.S. Attorney’s Office. It had nothing to do with Trump or directives from Washington.Yet Gavin is out here screaming “political retaliation!” and claiming Trump is targeting him because he’s a “rival.” Bro… your wife’s investigation began before Trump was even back in office.
That’s not a Trump hit job. That’s called Trump Derangement Syndrome on steroids. When everything looks like a conspiracy against you, maybe it’s time to look in the mirror instead of pointing fingers at Trump again.
California deserves better than leaders who treat legitimate investigations like personal vendettas.
