We’ve added an Instrument Sale division on Acoustic Disc, featuring instruments from the Dawg Collection.

For the past five decades I’ve been collecting “vintage” mandolins and other (mostly acoustic) stringed instruments of all types and it is now time to “thin the herd” and pass some of these pieces on to new homes where they will hopefully be played and appreciated. All are in good playing condition and as described. The purchase of any of these instruments will include a new set of strings, a Dawg pick and certificate of provenance signed by me. Thanks for your interest and keep pickin’! — David “Dawg” Grisman

Having just finished the four hour, Tom Petty documentary by Peter Bogdanovich, and enjoyed it, I laugh at a mere three hour Merle Haggard documentary by Ethan Hawke. Especially with what sound like some interesting performances worth listening to in whole. https://www.thewrap.com/highway-99-a-double-album-review-ethan-hawke-merle-haggard-documentary/?

Hawke's three-hour documentary features more than two dozen performances of Haggard's songs by Dwight Yoakam, Lucinda Williams, Rosanne Cash and more.
