Our passion is telling stories that matter. In these turbulent times, one could wonder where all the good has gone in the world. The documentaries we have produced over the years are a constant reminder that there are true heroes out in the world making real change. They say change begins with the individual, and these individuals and organizations are our inspiration.

The majority of this work has been through the NEA Foundation for the Horace Mann Awards, presented at their annual NEA Foundation's Salute to Teaching Excellence Gala in Washington D.C. as well as the NEA (National Education Association)'s Human and Civil Rights Awards. We have also worked with Let's Get Ready, raising over $1,000,000 at their gala, and the Peabody Awards, featuring 40+ celebrities including Oprah, Will Ferrell, Trever Noah, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Hasan Minhaj, Chris Rock, and more.

Filming in Point Hope, Alaska was a challenging adventure, facing the frigid temperatures and snowstorms, and the uncertainty of making it to our destination. Bur once we got there, we met a tight community with thousands of years of history. A history and culture that was nearly beaten out of them as the use of their language and practices were met by violence in school. In that context we filmed Horace Mann awardee Harlee Harvey who has become a member of this community and through her instruction in her classroom is helping in efforts to revitalize the Iñupiaq language and culture.

This is another Documentary short we had the pleasure of producing for The NEA Foundation awards for teaching for excellence. Seth Brady’s story was inspiring, a comparative religions teacher, he and his colleague lead the Illinois global scholars initiative which tasked students with creating a cap stone project that would do good for the world. We were very impressed with the breadth of these student led project, with some even passing legislation that affected the entire state.

Have a look at the link above to learn more.

Congratulations Seth!

Have a look at one of the documentaries we produced for the 2024 NEA Foundation Salute to Teaching Excellence Gala. Featuring outstanding educator Kimberly Christian Johnson, who also happened to win the night's big award - the Horace Mann Award for teaching excellence. Getting to meet Kimberly was a great experience, we are really happy to have been able to tell her story.
