Chapter 1: Waking Up

Friends of ARRVLS,

It's been a while I know. I wanted you to know that I haven't forgotten about ARRVLS or you. We will be back at you in the near distant future with new episodes..with more stories of life-changing events that define us. I also wanted you to know that I've been gone for a while with good reason.

I've been hard at work on my own story. It's about my childhood, my crazy/beautiful parents, and the guru we came to see as a god. The first two episodes are available now wherever you listen to podcasts, and you can hear all 7 episodes by signing up for Stitcher Premium. Find more by visiting the link below.

Yours,

The Heard

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for our collective: we are thrilled and excited to announce two new incredible producers to The Heard family: Erica Heilman and Sara Brooke Curtis.

Exciting news! The Heard is thrilled to welcome two new stellar producers to our roster - Erica Heilman and Sara Brooke Curtis!

On Erica's show, Rumble Strip Vermont, we hear from taxidermists and artists, soccer moms and criminals, lawyers and waitresses. Erica Heilman invites herself into people’s homes to find out what they know, what they love, what they’re afraid of, and what makes them more like you than you’d realized. The show has been a consistent feature on the “Best Of” lists of all the top podcast review sites, including two spots in the Atlantic’s “Top 50 Podcast Episodes of 2015”. The A.V. Club called it, “One of the most excellent podcasts recording today”.

Award-winning audio producer, Sara Brooke Curtis, is currently in production on "Today's Special", personal stories, audio fictions, and cultural commentaries inspired by the rich and messy inner workings of restaurants. We're excited to support Sara in developing this new show!
