Meet Deirdre Sinnott, author of The Third Mrs. Galway! Deirdre was a key researcher for the 2020 study on Abolition and the Underground Railroad in Oneida County, funded by the National Park Service. She is a passionate speaker on Utica’s history and the Abolition movement.

📖 Books will be available for purchase from The Treehouse Reading and Arts Center at the event, and Deirdre will be signing copies!

Our Spotlight Reading the Saturday night features Barbara J. Taylor!

Born and raised in Scranton, Barbara sets her novels in the hometown she loves and fills them with miners, evangelists, vaudevillians, nuns, gangsters, prostitutes, widows, musicians, dreamers, and a seer or two.

She is the author of Sing in the Morning, Cry at Night and All Waiting Is Long. Her latest book, Rain Breaks No Bones, is the final installment in her Scranton trilogy.

Come hear Barbara this Saturday night at Page to Stage at 8 pm. Admission is $5, but bring some extra cash in case our writers have books for sale. This show contains adult content.
