As 2025 comes to a close, we just want to say thank you.

This year, RetroGameCon brought gamers from all over the country (49 states! Give us a break, Wyoming 😭) to Syracuse to do what video games do best: bring people together to create happiness and fun.

It’s wild to look back and realize how far we’ve come. Just a few years ago, RetroGameCon was nearly game over due to the pandemic. Patting ourselves on the back here, but today, RGC has grown into:

🕹️ The largest pop culture convention in New York State outside of NYC
🏙️ The premier trade show and expo held in the City of Syracuse
💙 A charity powerhouse, with over $100,000 raised and counting
🧒 A source of joy, friendship, and gaming magic for the kids of Central New York and beyond
📍 And one of the big reasons Syracuse is officially on the map for gamers!

None of this happens without our vendors, guests, volunteers, sponsors, and the incredible community that shows up year after year with open hearts and shared passions.

2025 reminded us why we do this. And we know the best is still ahead.
