My deep concern regarding the recent events involving Shelly-Ann and Sha'Carri inability to warm up prior to their competition is alarming. This unfortunate situation effectively took away Shelly-Ann's opportunity to secure a victory for her country, which is profoundly unfair.The decision to change the rules in the midst of the competition is troubling. Shelly-Ann and Sha'Carri were not given the chance to perform at their best because they were unable to follow their routine warm-up. This not only affected their performances but also undermined the spirit of fair competition.These two athletes have dedicated themselves tirelessly to representing their countries at the 2024 Paris Olympics. It is disheartening to see their efforts compromised by administrative decisions. I strongly believe that the committee responsible for these changes should be investigated, and appropriate compensation should be provided to Shelly-Ann and Sha'Carri.The dedication and hard work of these athletes deserve recognition and respect, not unfair treatment. I hope that this matter will be addressed with the seriousness it deserves.
