I literally just discovered that another one of my children is not a morning person. Did y’all see his face? 😂😂🥰🥰🥰

Can y’all guess who else isn’t a morning person? Nelson or Zoey? 🤭

I’m responsible for protecting birth certificates for five people. But today was the first time I ever saw a death certificate. For my only mom😔😩

I studied it. I was unaware of how detailed it is. I just assumed there would be a sunrise and sunset day and time, city and state. But reading the cause and her age was debilitating. It just feels so final. Even though it is. The feeling just doesn’t feel real or right.

My appetite sucks right now! And, it seems that all of the markets have replaced lemon meringue with key lime 😩

Just another day attempting to push forward. I was able to sit with my thoughts on purpose this morning while all of my babies were still sleeping. I had a nightmare last night, which was a true experience last week and that just made me dive in deeper for some reason. I had planned to run from my thoughts as long as I could but here we are.

I will share that the same machine that administered my mother’s medicine every four hours in the hospital was the same exact machine that Nas’s feeding tube was connected to in the NICU 4 months ago. It made the same exact beeping sound when it finished. 😔 So, Every four hours with my mom in the hospital, I was triggered and reminded of an experience I was struggling to heal from. There is A LOT of unpacking to do here. 😮‍💨
