Did you know❓ When you think of the Brooklyn Bridge, wine isn’t the first thing that comes to mind. But the next time you drive over, you may crave a glass of Pinot or Chardonnay. During the construction of the bridge, engineers built vaults beneath it’s anchorages, some up to 50 feet tall. Due to their cold temperatures, the vaults were used as wine cellars, and they were rented out to the public for storage until World War 1! 🍷
