Dear Participant,

Welcome to Operation Restore. We are honored that you have chosen to join us for this unique Healing Intensive at Healing Hearts Through Hooves.

Over the next several days, you will step away from the demands of everyday life and enter a space designed for connection, reflection, growth, and restoration. Through meaningful conversation, experiential learning, horses, nature, movement, creativity, and the support of fellow veterans, we hope you will discover new tools and renewed strength for the road ahead.

This retreat is not about “fixing” you. You are not broken. It is about recognizing the strength that has carried you this far and creating space to move forward—from Post-Traumatic Stress to Post-Traumatic Growth.

You will be surrounded by a brotherhood of men who understand service, sacrifice, and the challenges of transitioning from survival to truly living again.

What We Provide

To help make your stay as comfortable as possible, the facility provides:

Lodging
Bed linens
Towels
Shampoo
Conditioner
Body soap

All meals and scheduled retreat activities are included. You do not need to bring food unless you have a specific dietary need, allergy accommodation, or personal preference.

This retreat is a chance to step away from the outside world and focus on yourself. Come as you are. There is no expectation to have all the answers, share more than you are ready to share, or be anything other than yourself.

We simply ask that you:

Respect yourself and your fellow participants
Respect the animals and the farm
Participate with an open mind
Support the brotherhood being created
Allow yourself permission to rest, reflect, and grow

We believe that healing happens in connection—with ourselves, with others, with nature, and sometimes with a horse standing quietly beside us.
