Maybe I will sleep.Maybe I will not. I just got scouted for the job of my dreams and an amazing offer that would have been fabulous ten years ago. Yet, I am sitting on the couch tonight before I speak with the owner tomorrow contemplating, if I want to at my advance stage since i've been told, to leave and start over again alone. Time to pull out a piece of loose leaf paper for all of you who went to saint pius and dominican. I guess whatever column has the best outcome. Hoping on a wing and a prayer and the lord knows.I am at my best over a stove.

Crispy Bacon-Wrapped Onion Rings with Spicy Aioli 🥓


Ingredients:

For the Onion Rings:

2 large onions, peeled and sliced into 1/2-inch thick rings
1 package bacon slices (about 8 slices)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
For the Spicy Aioli:

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sriracha
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:

Prepare the Onions: Slice the onions into 1/2-inch thick rings.
Wrap the Bacon: Cut each bacon slice in half lengthwise. Wrap one half of a bacon slice around each onion ring, securing with a toothpick.
Prepare the Batter: In a shallow dish, combine flour, bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Coat the Onion Rings: Dip each bacon-wrapped onion ring in the flour mixture to coat evenly.
Fry the Onion Rings: Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Carefully add the onion rings and fry for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Tonight we’re praying for the girl who has been thinking about giving up. The girl who feels like no matter how hard she tries, things just won’t go right.

I’m praying that you’ll speak to her and remind her that the situation isn’t over until you have the last say. Remind her that your word says you have plans to give her hope and a bright future.

I’m praying that you’ll remove any feelings of fear, anxiety and depression from her mind. May it be replaced with feelings of hope, restoration, and faith the size of a mustard seed. Guide her and show her the way back to you. Amen 🤍
