That’s a wrap! This afternoon, I had the pleasure of shooting a video of Emmy & Tony Award winning actress Kristin Chenoweth teaching a master class to Elon University Musical Theatre students — and although I can’t share any of the footage on social media due to contract stipulations, you’ll have to trust me when I say she’s small in stature, but big on talent. 🎬

Project Update.

Someone asked me the other day how the Brief Encounter film project was coming along -- so here's an update for you all. For the past two or three years during my spare time, I've had the pleasure of interviewing nearly a dozen members of the Brief Encounter family -- including Gary Bailey, Montie Bailey, Michael Carter, Warren Whittington, Barney Graham, Melvin Morrison, Julia Postell, Bobby Locke, Debbie Anderson Locke, Marvel A Bailey and Keith Wilborn. For a kid from Vermont who grew up listening to The Doors, Led Zeppelin & The Ramones among others -- having the opportunity to meet every one of these folks has been nothing short of wonderful -- as well as an educational introduction to the world of soul, R&B and gospel music. That said, we're not done yet. There are still several interviews that need to be conducted in the coming months. So, stay tuned -- and if you have a story about Brief Encounter that you'd like to share, I'd love to hear from you.
