Mr. Jimmie Hughes .... Your echomap 106 is on the way!

Jimmie shared a photo of a few slabs he caught..... So I shared a Veterans Discount for his service and some of my favorite baits to use on future trips.

I'll be listing a one year old seaark flex 21 for sale very soon. It can come with a variety of options to fit your budget!

If you are on the market for a newer boat, under 40 hours, that has a massive fishing deck and livewell, may be for you!

Pricing will depend on options. Expect to start around $45k base and go up from there with things electronics/poles. Suzuki 200 and Garmin force trolling motor.

Come fish with us! This tournament is special. I met the Brushpile Family when we worked to get it going the very first year. They've been family ever since.

Support a great cause, have a great time.... And meet some of the best people around. Winning scenario!

I have good inventory for echomap 93sv, 106sv and 126sv repairs. Please reach out if you need a new screen for your graphs. Inventory for all other orders on hand arrives this week! Thanks for your patience.

Website launches soon. Ordering, process tracking and payment will all be migrating there by next month.

My own line of monitors for expanded view arrive for testing this week. I expect to make a few changes and begin formal sales by October. Prices for 16, 19, and 22 inch monitors will be under $3k with goal of staying closer to $2k for 16" and 19". I will go over build quality and differentiating factors, such as the flush mounting fl**ge, live. While it adds height, my goal was versatility. It should work with existing Cornfield Fishing Gear mounts for larger units and benefit big water boats that need flush mount capabilities.

The dielectric grease discussion is always a topic in Garmin forums.

1) it is an insulator, not a conductor

2) it attracts contaminants, dirt, salt, and other particulates.... And they stick to it. This obstruction is what contributes to bent pins and ultimately breakage.

3) it doesn't keep anything straight, or prevent damage when fastening plugs to outlets. It simply lubricates the connection and degrades data transfer (insulator not a conductor)

I just received black boxes for repair work. Both of them had gobs of grease in the sonar plug. Both had broken pins and I could not see what was going on past the wall of grease.

Garmin Marine clearly states not to use grease inside connections. It is designed to prevent water when applied to the exterior of the joint.... In other words, around the outside of the plug.

Please - stop doing this! It just results in dirt, debris and small rock getting stuck in your sonar connection!!!! Ask me how I know.

I'd like to thank you all for the uptick in business the past month. It's been awesome!

Looking to spruce things up a bit and start including a small gift in each order. Since I fish crappie, it will be crappie related. Nothing huge... but hopefully inspires you all to go catch crappie. I will also start doing random drawings for larger gifts a few times a year as a thank you to everyone who has supported this endeavor.

Here are the items I will be considering as stocking stuffers:

- Stan's Slip Bobbers all types
- Crappie Magnet products I love
- BrushPile Fishing swag/product

Every few months I will do a drawing for quarter to date customers for larger items:

- B'n'M Fishing poles ... will be a pole I love and use regularly

Twice a year I will pick customers and offer a $250 discount for a guide trip on Green River Lake with David Jones or Dale Hollow Lake with Cleary Kentucky Fishing. If you win and want to go, I will help you coordinate with the guides and pay the credit towards your trip. These are two fantastic humans and best you will find guiding.

Once a year, I will offer a $500 discount off the total cost of a BrushPile Fishing learning academy! Best value there is... you get several guided trips, product, and a ton of knowledge. Come fish with us!

Last - if you are a college or high school fisherman/woman, please notify me if you break your screen. We can find a way to keep you on the water.

Busy this week! Several 12" graphs turned and more to go.

Big transformation Tuesday goes out to this 8616. A tree fell on it and crushed it. I did some plastic welding, epoxy and paint work before installing a replacement screen. Check out this repair! The last photo is the end result.

Got Paul Parker set up today. Second time I've gone to rig a boat and been fed well..... But the first time I have had grits to die for. My goodness! The hospitality is different in Alabama. I was blessed to meet Paul during one of the Brushpile Fishing Academies and made a deal to get him setup that I honored today.

Got a livescope installed on a Fishing Specialties down rod..... looking at a GPSMap 1242xsv. Power provided by a lithium LiTime and dedicated fuse panel. Cleaned up some wiring and left it looking pretty.
