Community Foundation Announces More Than $1 Million Available in Scholarships



The online application is open through March 31.



FREDERICK, MD – March 3, 2025: The Community Foundation of Frederick County’s online scholarship application for the 2025-2026 academic year is open through March 31.



For the tenth consecutive year, more than $1 million in scholarship funds are available to students pursuing post-secondary education and career training. By completing one general application, students may qualify for more than 200 scholarships.



Last year, Community Foundation scholarships supported more than 350 students and totaled $1.9 million.



Students about to complete their senior year of high school; students already enrolled in a trade school, college or university, or graduate program; and nontraditional students over the age of 21, are eligible to apply. Funds support scholars with various levels of financial need, and a wide range of academic achievement. All students are encouraged to apply.
