EMA update from National Weather Service Briefing:
Extreme Winds are expected in our area, possibility of Category 1-2 with higher gusts.
● The fast motion of the storm will limit the amount of surge that can be produced
● Up to 4’ Above Ground Level in Camden & Glynn
● Up to 3’ elsewhere
● Much will be dependent of the tide cycle when the highest surge impacts any one area
The St. Simons Island Pier is currently Closed.
The Sidney Lanier Bridge will close at 10AM.
In the City of Brunswick:
1500-1700 Albany Street is closed
1300 – 1400 Newcastle Street is closed
