GREETINGS FROM OHIO: I am the Founder and Curator of the Frazer Living Clothing and Home Decor Brand and the America's Got Style Showcase. I was born in Mami, Florida and moved north to Ohio with my family when I was 8 but later returned to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. I now reside in O
hio with my husband David, and I am the Mother to 3 adult children and their Spouses and a Nana to 2 cute little grandkids. Growing up, my Mom loved to decorate and entertain, she would show me how to do creative crafts and in the 7th grade I learned how to sew and as a Freshman in High School got voted " Best Dresses" in the 1st 2 weeks of school. So, I now am following in her footsteps but at a whole new level today with a new Home decor and Fashion brand, Frazer Living. MY INSPRIRATION: When I was a young girl, my grandmother worked in Burdine's Department store in Miami during a very glamorous time and she introduced me to the world of fashion through her Vogue Magazines and by purchasing Sewing books for me filled with graphics of clothing designs. My grandfather was a casting director for Paramount Pictures and met many Hollywood celebrities including Marilyn Monroe. He later encouraged my career as a model, actress, commercial spokesmodel and coached me to accomplish pageant titles like Miss Miami Beach, Miss Ohio and Miss North America. This all built up my confidence and my speaking skills as I was on TV in South Florida up to 14 times a day in commercials for local companies. And was featured on Channel 4 News as I represented Greater Miami and the Beaches promoting tourism as an Ambassador to Bogota, Columbia. As time went on, I traveled to 22 countries while learning to enjoy their people, products, fashion, food and traditions. This has prepared me to launch Frazer Living and the Young American Showcase worldwide eventually. MY FIRST FASHION SHOW: It all started at 17, where I competed in a runway modeling audition against over 400 girls and was chosen to go on tour, and featured in SEVENTEEN Magazine. Who would have thought that it would lead to actually hosting fashion shows in Miami for clothing stores. It was also exciting to win Miss North America and be flown to New York to be photographed for a two-page spread in GOOD HOUSKEEPING Magazine. Some of the highlights as a full-time actress was getting a principal role working on Miami Vice with Don Johnson and Phillip Michael Thomas and on MTV with Bob Dylan and John Cougar Mellencamp. My experience as a makeup artist and stylist allowed me to get behind the camera and become a fashion photographer. I also photographed the State winners who needed professional photos for the Miss America and Miss USA Pageants. Some of the models started asking me to photograph their weddings and thus I had a very successful bridal division as well. Frazer Studios became sought after by those from Boston to Seattle, Washington as I flew across the USA to shoot models, dancers, pageant contestants, seniors, families and weddings. OUR COMPETITION: All of these experiences lead to the launch of the Young American Showcase which became a Modeling and Talent Competition (I sold after nine years), which is still running today. I also published the YOUNG AMERICAN MODEL Magazine which complimented the Showcase. I had modeling agents from New York to California fly in to judge our competitions held at Disney resorts. We had over $250,000 in college scholarships donated (per year) by Oral Roberts University and were sponsored by the haircare line, Matrix Essentials. Today we are in the process of launching the Young American Showcase which will support Clothing Boutiques who carry our products and their customers. REINVENTING MYSELF: Those were exciting times, but I wanted to put family first, so I made the shift. I sold my storefront, and my pageant system moved my business home to work as a Corporate Consultant for many companies wanting to grow their brands while attending activities for my kids. I became both a Field and Corporate expert in the Direct Selling Industry for the USA and Internationally. And for 10 years created startups from scratch, did product development, import, export logistics, FDA and FTC regulatory support, website development, video production and marketing. WHY FRAZER LIVING IS DIFFERENT: On December 15th of 2023, I decided to take all of that knowledge and craft beautiful, "fresh-made clothing and home decor accessories line and revamp my blog website into a robust, ecommerce marketplace. I wanted a reliable team of artisans to color and handsewn the premium fabric. And I wanted a reliable quality control system, fulfillment and shipping production in place, and I got it done. RESEARCH REVEAL: I also researched the clothing industry and learned about all of the waste that is generated by the overproduction being done today with massive tons of unsold clothing being literally thrown into garbage dumps. Then there is the pollution coming from their long journey in cargo container ships. Ships that can carry rodent and insect infested containers are brought into the country and then stored in unregulated warehouses. The cheap plastic bags or wrappings can become a breeding ground for mold and mildew forming inside during the long journey at sea with the moisture and sun. And also, if they were stored on loading docks and in parking lots outside in the rain and hot sun. There definately was a need for change. OUR AFFILIATE PROGRAM: After reading all this I decided that making "Fresh Clothing and Home Decor" makes Frazer Living products sustainable and increases longevity. And for our Boutiques who carry our Brand, we avoid the current International logistic nightmares which keeps your clothing from arriving on time. We will also offer an Affiliate program as we see that Social Media cost have skyrocketed and we would much rather give you our advertising budget for helping us grow. Like they say: "When the tide rises all the boats rise".
