"Curious": https://www.mcreddick.com/warehouse-open-edition-prints/art_print_products/curious-2024

Featured here is "Curious".

This duck was by far the greatest quacker I had ever heard in my life. Anytime she was in the area, it sounded like she was having the last laugh at the greatest joke ever told. I have heard female Mallards tend to have much louder and more distinctive voices compared to males, perhaps to attract them. Unfortunately, this attractive trait also drew in nearby predators. Her vivid expression of curiosity lightens up and adds warmth to any room.

This version of "Curious" is signature logo-free, just the image.

Cave people were the original home decorators.

Some of the oldest known art in the world was found in the Chauvet Cave in France. Early humans painted lions, mammoths, and rhinos in charcoal and ochre, using the contours of the rock to bring the animals to life.

Many lifetimes later, we still use the walls around us to tell stories, express ourselves, and mark our time here.

Some things never go out of style.

"Through the Woods"

Another capture of the Great Stampede of June of '24. A couple dozen handsome cows broke through our fence from a few properties away to do a little bit of site-seeing. After they stampeded around our house a few times, they slowed down to a trot then a stroll around the perimeter of our property. Here in this capture, they are walking through the trees in a line - unsure what to make of us - concealing themselves in the shadows of cedar trees.

Ever walk past a blank wall and feel like it’s… silently judging you?

If a wall makes you pause, it’s probably asking for attention. Care to give it the creative touch it wants?

Tell me about a time you just had to decorate a wall before it drove you nuts!

This artwork is called, “Mouthful - 2025.”

From the great stampede of June of '24. A couple dozen handsome cows broke through our fence from a few properties away, perhaps to see if the grass was greener on the other side. They stampeded around our house a few times before slowing down to a trot around the perimeter. After the initial scare, I thought it might be fun to capture a few shots.

There’s something about the light in late summer. It's softer mornings, long golden evenings, and just enough quiet to feel reflective.

This time of year always makes me think differently about the art we live with.

What kind of atmosphere do you want your space to have as the season shifts?

They are rising up to the moment, sizing each other up. This piece captures the light and energy of the scene, with emphasis on the emotive quality over sharp definition.

Self-Care

Featured here is "Self-Care".

A snapshot of many different textures coming together with a painterly feel. Mallards here are stepping away from it all to groom themselves until their next adventure. A reminder for us to step away and take time for our own self-compassion.

Let this image inspire tranquility to your space.
