Entry-Level Low Voltage Technician
Install and support low-voltage systems under supervision—home automation, security, networking, audio/video, and structured cabling. You'll learn on the job by shadowing experienced techs: running cables, terminating connections, mounting equipment, testing systems, and assisting with customer handoffs.
We'll train you on the platforms and tools we use. You need reliable transportation, willingness to work in attics/crawl spaces, and the ability to follow instructions and ask questions. Technical background is a plus but not required if you're a fast learner and take pride in clean, code-compliant work.
This role is the foundation for becoming a skilled installer—the better you learn this, the faster you advance.

Aggieland Smart Home Technologies is looking for a **Lead Low Voltage Technician** here in the Bryan/College Station area.

Here's the deal — we do high-end residential and commercial integration. Automation, AV, security, cameras, networking, structured cabling. The good stuff. Our name goes on every job, so we need somebody who runs a job the right way from rough-in to finish and takes pride in clean, labeled, tested work. If you cut corners, this ain't it. If you take this trade seriously and want to lead, keep reading.

You'd be leading installs, running cable, terminating and testing, racking gear, setting cameras and displays, and keeping the crew and the schedule on track. You don't have to be a programmer — we've got a full-time programmer on staff — but if you know your way around Savant, Alarm.com, or networking, that just puts more money in your pocket.

- **$30+/hour** depending on what you bring to the table
