With 2 weeks to prepare, we were as bad as bad could get. I’m not mad we lost, I’m pi**ed that we were so unprepared... No blocking, no tackling, terrible cornerback play, poor decision making, poor play calling at times, no red zone ex*****on (for the third week in a row), giving up the big play, etc. we haven’t played hungry and disciplined since Clemson. This is by far the worst game this team has played all year. If it doesn’t improve, UAB might be our only win for the rest of the season.
What time should I get there to see ESPN Gameday? whoop!!

I request everyone take a moment and reflect upon what made you a Texas A&M fan and share it with everyone. To all of you who know me, I never attended Texas A&M - but in my heart I am a big fan of the Fighting Texas Aggies! (WHOOP!!!) I became a fan of Texas A&M watching them play Alabama in the 1968 Cotton Bowl on national television with my father back in my hometown of Salem, Virginia. There was a Cadet explaining Aggie traditions after scoring a touchdown whereas he had just kissed his girlfriend. Just before the interviewer could let the guys up in the booth know "back to you" to resume coverage of the game, that Cadet grabbed the guy's hand and yelled into the microphone on live television, "Beat the hell out of 'Bama!" That was when I became a lifelong fan at the age of ten... nearly half a century ago. Gig'em! Finally, with Alabama coming to Aggieland this coming weekend, let the world know we are the greatest fans in the entire country simply because collectively we are the 12th Man! With that said, I wish to add the following for everyone to digest completely and objectively before you form your own opinion. I shared this with friends and family last week before the victory over South Carolina. So, Texas A&M defeated Arkansas once again in Jerry's House. Overall, I believe it was the best game between the two teams over the past five years. Simply because of the fact that the Aggies mustered the victory with a large number of true Freshman athletes. That in itself should speak volumes to the "Aggie Faithful." These young men are learning to rely upon one another and buy into Coach Sumlin's vision and desire to put College Station among the elite programs in the NCAA. Tony Buzbee owes an apology to Coach Sumlin, the entire A&M coaching staff, the football players and their national fan base for his inappropriate and uncivilized comments after the opening season loss to UCLA. Unfortunately, Regents are powerful at any institution, but especially in the state of Texas. They're more powerful here because they are put in that position by the governor. All the more reason Mr. Buzbee needs to make his apology very public and reinsert his support to the current regime under Coach Sumlin. Do we really want to hire another coach? The pool of prospects is shallow to say the very least... and the SEC is not looking as powerful as it has in previous years. Also, next season's schedule will be the toughest Texas A&M has ever faced in their history... and Coach Sumlin is the only individual who may be able to navigate The Fighting Texas Aggies (WHOOP!!!) through the entire gauntlet. This season... win, lose or draw... must be a building block... a foundation to be successful in next year's campaign. The Aggies will play five of its first six SEC games away from Kyle Field. Texas A&M will open SEC play at Alabama in September of 2018 then face Arkansas at AT&T Stadium the following week. The much improved Kentucky Wildcats roll into Aggieland the first weekend of October and afterwards, we go to Williams-Brice Stadium to compete against the Gamecocks. The bye week follows and this is where Coach Sumlin and his young team must "bare down and focus" to finish the season... and hopefully be sitting on only "ONE" loss (Alabama or Clemson)... or by the grace of God, undefeated. The Aggies will play at Mississippi State and Auburn then host Ole Miss the second Saturday of November and wrap up the regular season on Thanksgiving Day at Kyle Field against LSU. All four of the nonconference games will be played at home... including Clemson in week number two of the season... and regardless of whomever, wherever and whenever A&M plays next season... do NOT let up on ANY opponent WHATSOEVER! If we have our foot on the neck of the opponent, then crush the windpipe until the body does not move... and you keep the pressure applied until the final click off the clock! That is the mentality necessary to succeed in the SEC, as well as become a contender for the NCAA Football Championship. Anything less than a ten win season in 2018 will not be forgiven... JUST DO IT!!! I BELIEVE!!!
